Take first place with a Mario Kart birthday party!
Start your engines! Mario Kart has been one of Nintendo’s most popular game series since the early 1990s, and with the recently announced Mario Kart 8 upcoming on the Wii U, it’s only growing in popularity. Of course, as the anticipation builds for the next game, Mario Kart Wii is still as fun as ever! That’s why our Mario Kart Wii party packs are so popular too, and for Nintendo fans they’re a must have.
These party packs have everything you need to throw a great party, including party supplies, decorations, and invitations. Keep reading for more great Mario Kart party tips!
Host your own Mario Kart Grand Prix!
Mario Kart in all of its iterations makes for a great party game, because it’s easy for kids (and adults!) to just pick up and play, regardless of skill level. Plus, four players can play on the same split-screen, so there’s plenty of room for everyone to get involved. Start up the console and get a tournament going!
Mario Kart Birthday Cake!
There are definitely a lot of different ways you can go with a Mario cake, but this one made by Kristi definitely captures the Mario Kart spirit. In fact, you could even say it takes the cake! The two round tiers are cut angularly to create a spiraling race track, with an edible Mario and Luigi racing to the top – adorable!
This fun party game is a Mario Kart twist on a classic scavenger hunt. In the Mario Kart games, there’s always power-ups along the track to help the player. Print some pictures of them off the Internet (the Mario Kart Wiki is a great resource) and hide them around the party for the kids to find. Make stronger power-ups like the Blue Spikey Shell, Star, and Bullet Bill harder to find and worth more points than power-ups like the Banana Peels and Green Shells.
