How to throw a TMNT birthday party for ninjas of all ages!
The world’s most fearsome fighting team is coming back to Nickelodeon this fall! That’s right, the new season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is premiering in September.
Since the original cartoon debuted in the 80s, reboots of Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo, and Raphael in the 2000s and now in the 2010s have kept fans of all ages coming in in waves – cowabunga!
If your hero in a half shell can’t get enough of the turtles, then give their next birthday party some serious Turtle Power! Our TMNT Party Packs (officially licensed by Nickelodeon) are loaded to the top with Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Supplies, including balloons, ninja masks, favor boxes, full-art plates and napkins, and a personalized banner!

TMNT Pull-String Piñatas!
Their shells may be tough, but they’re not uncrackable! All it takes is one pull of the right string to release the candy or party favors held inside. Make a game out of having each guest take turns, or just let them yank ‘em all at once. Even though this piñata doesn’t require a stick, it’s sure to be a hit!
Shuriken Target Practice!
The shuriken – or “ninja stars” – are classic martial arts weapons often used by the Turtles. Our soft foam versions are safe enough for the kids to toss around, and are perfect for apprentice ninjas! Set up some empty cups or soda cans, and see which child can knock the most down. Or, print out some pictures of The Kraang and affix to cardboard for easy and fun targets!
The bo staff is the signature weapon of the Turtle in purple, Donatello. For a fun party game, take any long staff-like object – a broomstick will do nicely – and have the kids see who can limbo underneath it! For a more authentic look, paint the stick brown and wrap some masking tape around the center for the grip. Keep lowering your homemade “bo” to increase the challenge, and let the winner go home with a special TMNT party favor box!
If there’s one thing the Turtles (especially Michaelangelo) have always loved, it’s pizza. Instead of just serving pizza for lunch, why not go one step further with dessert pizza? There are countless options, ideas, and recipes on The Food Network’s site. We like the simplicity of these Individual Fruit Pizzas – just bake the crusts and the kids can decorate their own healthy dessert with freshly cut fruit!
