Fun Party Places to Make Your Child’s Birthday Unforgettable!

If you’ve been following this blog, then you know that we like to give out ideas and tips on how you can make your kid’s birthday parties. So, you might have a great idea of what to for their party, but that still leaves the question – where should you have the party? That’s why this blog is all about where to find fun birthday party places.

One tool you can use to find a great venue in your area is iBirthdayParty.com. “The Ultimate Guide to Kid’s Birthday Party Locations” lets you set a travel radius in miles from your zip code, and returns all birthday party locations in that area. You can also filter results by category, or simply browse categories. It works a lot better than just Googling “party places in <insert city name>”

Here are some of our favorite types of birthday party venues that can be found just about everywhere in the U.S:

Children’s Museums

Lots of museums, aquariums, and planetariums offer special tours or programs for kids. If they have a package specifically set up for birthdays, then you’re all set. The looks on their faces as their minds get blown by science will be well worth it – and, you might even learn something, too!

Inflatables

Jump Zone

There’s nothing quite like the experience of a bounce house. Two of the largest chains of inflatable play centers are Bounce U and JumpZone. Combined, they have locations in just about all fifty states, and feature other attractions like giant slides and obstacle courses.

Laser Tag

Clubhouse Statesboro

This safer alternative to paintballing is great activity for burning off energy, and is tons of fun for the adult chaperones at the party, too! Laser Quest has a birthday party package fit for all ages, which includes perks like free games and private party rooms.

Skating Rinks

For winter birthdays, ice skating parties can be great options – retire afterwards for cake and hot chocolate, or head outside for an impromptu snowball fight. For summer birthday, roller skating rinks offer the same level fun, and many venues often have a selection of arcade games. Speaking of which…

Arcades

Home consoles and computers are definitely at the forefront of video gaming nowadays, but arcades still bring the same fun-filled atmosphere as ever. Plus, not everyone has access to awesome table games like air hockey or foosball! National chains like Chuck E Cheese offer pizza parties and private rooms, but check out local locations for more ideas, too.

Amusement Parks

Nothing says fun like going to a theme park! Admittedly, this can get a little on the pricey side, but many parks such as Six Flags locations offer discounted package deals. Even if the kids are too little to go on the big coasters, bumper cars, go karts, and carnival games provide tons of fun for everyone.

Bowling

Bowling is a unique sport in that it’s actually fun to be bad at it! Typically, most kids should be in the same boat when it comes to bowling skill, which makes it a great party game. Bowling alleys generally have private rooms that you can reserve, and snack bars with pizza, popcorn, soda, and more.

Ice Cream Parlors

This can make a great ending to a birthday party, or the entire party itself! Every birthday party needs cake and ice cream, so why not make a big deal out of the ice cream? Lots of ice cream parlors offer tasting parties and build-own-sundae parties that kids love.
