Since it was designed in 1945, Candy Land has been the first favorite board game for children across multiple generations – you probably played with your family when you were growing up, and now it’s your child’s turn to play!

At, we love Candy Land too! That’s why we have Candy Land Party Packs with Candy Land party supplies, decorations, party favors, and more. If you want to throw an awesome Candy Land birthday party for your kids, read on for our party tips!

Life Size Candy Land!

Anyone can just crack open the Candy Land set and play the board game. Make your child’s birthday party one they’ll never forget by putting them in the game! The above video, from the Villa Parks Department in Iowa has a pretty elaborate setup, but it’s full of inspiration. Bunches of colored helium balloon make for bundles of giant lollipops, and taped-down construction paper sheets can be the spaces. Finish off your scenery with our Candy Land Giant Wall Decals!

Pounds of Piñata Fun!

When you think of birthday parties, and when you think of candy, you think of one thing – piñatas! It just wouldn’t be a Candy Land party without a piñata or two to shower the guests in delicious treats! You can check out’s entire collection of piñatas here. Aside from the more traditional “knock-the-stuffing-out-of-them” style, we also offer pull-string piñatas – only one string of many will cause the floodgates of sweets to open. Which child will be the one to set it off? Don’t forget the piñata filler!

Candy Land Cakes!

Every birthday party needs a birthday cake, and Coolest Birthday Cakes has a bunch of Candy Land themed cake ideas for you to try out. You can make any rectangular sheet cake look like the Candy Land board in a snap – simply place square candies such as Starburst or Jolly Ranchers to be the spaces.
